Arabic is one of the richest languages yet its not doing very well in technology or since, and that comes for many reasons, first is that theres no central center or community for translation of technology & since terms, so each Arabic country with different Arabic accent might use a different word for same term.

Another reason is the translation process which is mostly made by people professional in english but not very close to technology field, so they translate literally and that might not be a very good choice, we would like to introduce a name way fro translation we called the translation of the idea behind the word not the word itself, Arabic is rich of synonyms so an alternative might show the meaning more than a direct literal translation. Now publishers is a different story as I didn't see an Arabic book with an index till now.
